"Pilates has transformed my life in more ways than one. For years, I owned and ran an art gallery. After I had my two sons, I found my body had changed in a way not to my liking. I learned about Pilates by chance, and found that practicing it regularly got me in better shape than before I had children. I am stronger with lean muscle, flexibility, resilient to injury, and my mind is centered and balanced. Pilates has also transformed my career. I have become a classically trained, certified Power Pilates instructor, and I've combined my entrepreneurial spirit and passion for exercise to launch this studio. I want our studio to be an inviting destination for those eager to improve their physique and wellbeing. I truly believe that movement heals. My colleagues inspire me every day with their energy, expertise and eagerness to positively change people's lives through Pilates. I look forward to meeting you and helping you transform your body from the inside out."

"I am a fitness junkie who has been training and teaching in the fitness industry for more than 25 years. I am certified to teach broad range of fitness classes including step, weight conditioning, TRX, and kickboxing, and have been certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 1990. Because of a hip injury, I discovered Pilates to balance out my workouts and realized that Pilates was the anti-aging workout I was craving! I hold certifications from Polestar and Power Pilates and am a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) certified trainer. As a Teacher Trainer for Power Pilates, I travel the Midwest instructing certification programs and continuing education workshops. My goal is to teach the Pilates method in its classic form and teach trainers how to be successful instructors. I work with people of all fitness levels, and am dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals and change your life with Pilates."

"The art of movement has always been a part of my life as a gymnast, cheerleader and competitive equestrian. My college studies in anatomy and adaptive P.E. taught me that 'movement heals,' and I've been a fitness instructor since the early '90s. I'm certified in all types of group fitness and personal training, and I enjoy teaching workshops to help other instructors develop their skills. I've completed the highest level of certifications in both the classical and contemporary methods of Pilates including Polestar Pilates, Physical Mind Pilates and Power Pilates. I'm also certified in the Xtend Ballet Barre Method and have received Level 1 Foundation GYROKINESIS ® and GYROTONICS certificate of apprenticeship. I look forward to making your workouts fun, functional, and most of all...never boring."

"I've always had a passion for exercise: swimming, running, and yoga. After leaving the corporate world and starting a family, I turned to Pilates to regain my core strength and help diminish the lingering baby bulge – I found so much more! The benefits I obtained from Pilates were far beyond my expectations. Pilates has taken me to a fitness level I had never been able to achieve previously. It has empowered me to enjoy an overall healthier lifestyle. I also found a new exciting career! I studied to become a Power Pilates Instructor for both Mat and Equipment training obtaining my Systems 3 or 600 Hour Certificate. I am eager to continue my personal and professional growth with Pilates as well as inspiring others to enjoy the amazing life long benefits."

“I am so grateful that I discovered Pilates. The method became a part of my life after I witnessed people around me completely changing their bodies. My original goal was to be healthier, get in shape and tone my muscles. But I found Pilates gave me so much more -- better posture, more efficient movement, physical self-awareness and I became leaner and happier! As I trained with a certified Pilates instructor, I was amazed with how my body changed and wanted to deepen my work and also learn how I could help others benefit from the method. I am Mat and Equipment certified through Power Pilates, completing my 600 apprentice hours at Purely Pilates in California under Senior Teacher Trainer Allison Gonzalez. As an instructor my goal for my clients is to simplify Pilates with patient and encouraging instruction."

"Movement has always been a part of my life. From 2nd grade to college, I was involved in baton twirling, dance, and cheerleading. After graduating from The University of Arizona, I turned to group fitness and have been teaching since 2001. I hold certifications from Mad Dogg Athletics for Spinning, AFAA for kickboxing, Zumba, and Les Mills for Body Pump. Realizing how important exercise and movement are, I went to The Ohio State Univerty to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Through group fitness, I was intrigued by Pilates, how great it felt, and how much it complimented my other workouts. I have since earned certifcation from Polestar for Pilates for Rehabilitation, and from Power Pilates. I feel that Pilates is a great way to balance muscles and to prevent overuse injuries. I consider Pilates the "glue" that holds me together for all my daily activites and fitness adventures. My goal as an instructor is to empower you to feel great in your own body."

"I am the most recently certified Power Pilates instructor to join the Body Pure Team. Although teaching is my calling now, I began my career in a different profession. I earned a Ph D in school psychology from Ohio State and worked in and around Columbus serving children and families with special needs. I started doing yoga, Pilates, and running as a new mom, and it changed my life. I discovered a passion for fitness and a strong desire to teach. What started as a fun way to lose the baby weight, relieve stress, and connect with other moms turned into so much more.  Now. fitness is a way of life for my family and me. I run multiple marathons each year and teach both yoga and Pilates. I believe my desire to help others is channelled into teaching fitness. As an instructor, I have a heightened awareness of the strong link between physical and emotional health. Not only have yoga and Pilates helped me stay physically strong and healthy as a runner by increasing core stability, flexibility, and stamina, they have kept me emotionally grounded and centered. I am grateful for the opportunity to share the benefits of yoga and Pilates with you. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals."

Anne Van Druten

"Simply put, I have a calling for wanting to take care of people. I was so drawn to acupuncture and Chinese medicine because there is the ability to heal without the use of drugs or other syntheitc treatments, and it gives our bodies the opportunity to come back to balance and be healthy naturally. I am a graduate of the Swedish Institute of School of Acupuncture in NYC where I received a Bachelor of Professional Studies and Master of Science. I have studied under the tutelage of Jeffrey C. Yuen, internationally renowned Master of Chinese Medicine and 88th generation Taoist Priest. I look forward to helping you achieve true body and mind balance."

I graduated from Columbus State where I received an Associate's Degree in Fitness Management, as well as my Personal Trainer Certification from the American Council of Exercise and American Fitness Institute.
